I value vulnerability, spontaneity, and physicality as a dancer and a creator. As a dancer, I aim to connect audiences to the artistry that is being expressed within my movement, as well as the influence from the music. I aspire to challenge my tendencies and to avoid complacency. I enjoy the risk and struggle that accompany dance as it produces a plentiful amount of new knowledge and experience. I am intrigued by dance’s ability to empower people and give them a choice. I believe that art has the power to preserve humanity as it taps into the deepest roots of human connection. Through dance, we are able to experience and express humanity to our audiences.
